Story
Share the Feeling Productions started in May 2006 and, from small beginnings, working on projects for family, friends and friends of friends, the business now caters for private and corporate clients in the UK, Ireland and even Belgium.
“Share the Feeling” was the motto of the Special Olympics World Summer Games, which was held in Ireland in June 2003. I spent four and a half life–changing years working for the Special Olympics movement, which is a year round programme of sports training and competition for people with learning disabilities. The Games’ motto was so apt for my new venture, that I begged and begged until they allowed me to use it (thank you Mary D.!) Now I’ll always have a little bit of Special Olympics with me, which I reckon can only be a good thing …
Thanks to all of our clients, the business has expanded to the extent that we are now employing local people with learning disabilities – The Chain Gang – who use their skills and talents in making ©Little Gifts of Feeling and putting the finishing touches to your invitations.
Hansa Bhudia was our very first employee and she is now “Chief of the Chain Gang” – check out her online diary to see what they get up to each week. She is an absolute star and puts a lot of love and passion into her work.
That about covers it for now, better get back to work …
